Market Review

Range bound. The FBM KLCI eased 3.83 pts to 1,325.87 on range-bound trading yesterday, with most investors reducing their holdings, particularly in mid- and large-cap stocks. Advancers led decliners by 332 to 318, while 294 counters were unchanged, 418 untraded and 26 others suspended. Among the key market  news today are the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) will draw up its public transport master plan in six to 12 months, LRT extension works to start in November, AirAsia weighs dividend payout, IJM Land disposes of Delta Awana for RM66m, SC charges ex-LFE director, Alan Rajendram with securities fraud,  Tengku Ibrahim files suit against Petra Perdana and Primus sees EONCap fair price at RM6.18bn, or RM8.91  per share. Overnight, US stocks fell 145.64 pts to 10,152.8 as banking stocks slid on concerns over financial regulation and renewed fears over the position of Greek sovereign debts. Given the lack of fresh leads, we  expect more languished trading ahead of the weekend
